Manchester City Lord Mayor Abid Latif Chohan to begin the ground work for a potential Twinning between City of Manchester and KMC.

We agreed to work on a preliminary MOU that will create a closer connection between the cities in the following areas of:

1) Education

2) Tourism

3) Sanitation

4) Policing

Manchester City has a population of 500,000 est. very similar to Kanifing Municipality and we share the same Governance structures. The twinning when completed will be of great benefit to the People of KM.
