It’s a pleasure to receive symbols of friendship from mayor Abdoulaye Puye of Commune de Mbao, Senegal via Deputy Mayor Musa Bah and Cllr Musa Cham (foreign relations).

Our sister city link is another great example of the warm friendship and bond between Gambia and Senegal. KM appreciate the hospitality accorded to our team on their visit.

We look towards signing the KANIFING-MBAO COOPERATION PACT on Mayor Puye’s visit in 2020.

The pact draft by the joint steering committee between the councils will look into cooperation in the areas of:

– Kanifing-Mbao sales Expositions to boast bilateral trade

– Kanifing- Mbao Mayoral Trophy

– Kanifing- Mbao Arts Sales Expositions

– Twinning of schools and exchange programs
