In the City of Maaseik Belgium on the invitation of Mayor Jan Creemers to twin the KMC with its second sister city and the first in the EU.

Mayor Creemers ensures there is no rest on day 1 by setting up meetings with the Directors of the municipal owned social housing company, the Directors and CMO of their new €120million health facility jointly owned by the municipality, a meeting with the chief of municipal police and the director of urban planning department.

Once the sister is established KM will now have access to Maaseik’s city resources and technical know-how.  Commitments are made by all the directors to support Mayor Bensouda’s vision for  KM.
