Work on the Bakoteh Dumpsite fence is in full swing.

The concrete reinforced structure will be 1.8km long and 3.9 meters high and will encircle the entire perimeter of the Bakoteh Dumpsite.

The purpose is to secure the perimeter of the site limiting the risk of fire. The fence will also eliminate pedestrian traffic and cattle from wondering into the site and most importantly limit hazardous waste entering communities.
